The Commonwealth theme for 2013

Monday, 11 March 2013, is Commonwealth Day. Throughout the week of 10-17 March, the Commonwealth family celebrates this year’s theme − ‘Opportunity through Enterprise’.

The theme encourages creativity, a can-do spirit and hard work.

Join the 54 countries of the Commonwealth in celebrating the enterprising spirit which unlocks opportunities in small rural communities, large urban centres, businesses, governments and civil society.

Throughout the year, find out how ‘Opportunity through Enterprise’ is being demonstrated across the Commonwealth, and look out for a chance to share your ideas and stories on the theme.
